You do not need software to work out your numerology — the core calculations are simple arithmetic. This guide shows you how to calculate your key numbers by hand and understand what they mean.

Step 1 — Your Life Path Number

Add all the digits of your full birth date and reduce to a single digit (keeping master numbers 11, 22, 33). This gives your Life Path Number — the foundation of your chart.

Step 2 — Your Name Numbers

Convert each letter of your full name to its number (1–9) and add them. The total, reduced, is your Expression number. Adding only the vowels gives your Soul Urge number.

Step 3 — Interpreting the Results

Read each number's meaning and notice where the same numbers repeat across your chart — repetition amplifies a theme. Together, the numbers paint a portrait of your purpose, talents and inner drives.
